Pashia Ruth Shedd

Mrs. Pashia Ruth Shedd, 72 of Green Cove Springs, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 26, 2017. Mrs. Shedd was born June 16, 1945 in Hubert, North Carolina to the late Fred Thomas and Tiney (Morton) Cannon. She worked for the Clay County School board for over 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, visiting friends, and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, William John Shedd, and her children, Harry Major Russell, Jr., Harry Major Russell, Tina Marie Russell Gallaher, and Anita Sue Russell. Survivors are her children, Thomas Major Russell, Leondas "Leon" Major Russell, and Katie Laura Marcyes (Ryan) all of Green Cove Springs, step-children, Deborah Brooker (Craig) and Jane Hansford (Lonnie) both of Green Cove Springs, siblings, Jack Cannon (Jaqueline), Judy Strain, and Daisy Wells (Bud) of North Carolina and Ray Cannon (Laura) of Florida. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell (Josh), Darla Edge Wilson, Rhonda Edge, Taylor Russell, Jacob Russell, Kayla Russell, Camron Russell, Teagan Russell, Zedek Russell, Ashia Russell-Marcyes, Chase Dixon (Jessie), and Shalene Reed (David), and great grandchildren, Carson Orender, Gracie Dixon, Brody Dixon and Jesse Reed. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home, 1811 Idlewild Avenue, SR 16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 with Pastor Rev.
