Patricia Anne Bjorneby, 84 of St. Augustine, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born July 26, 1938 in Colon, Panama. Pat is survived by her sons, John Bjorneby and Marc Bjorneby, daughters, Jan Gerlach and Kristi Vanella and her grandsons Nathan Krawjewski and Michael Bjorneby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Bjorneby, her son Michael and daughter Kari. Pat loved to travel and went to the seven continents of the world. She went white water rafting in Alaska, walked on the glaciers in Glacier National Park, climbed on the Great Wall of Chine, and explored the Buddhist Temple, Angkor Wat, in Cambodia. She rode in a dog sled in Finland and came face to face with a koala in Australia. Pat visited the Sphinx in Giza and walked on the Great Pyramid. She walked through the Inca ruins Machu Picchu in Peru and the Mayan ruins Chichn Itz in Mexico. She worked for the United States Army and was responsible for the education of the soldiers stationed at several military bases in Panama. She will be missed by her family and friends. There will be no services held at this time.
