HIGGS: Funeral services for Patricia "Pat" Higgs, 79, who passed away on October 3, 2018, will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Dr. Winson Butler officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Higgs was born in Lumberton, North Carolina and was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 1959. She was a longtime member of Eastport Baptist Church. She was a Bartender by profession having worked at Panama Lounge for over 30 years. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Bobby Jack Higgs Sr.; 2 sons, John Larry Adams and Bobby Jack Higgs Jr., (Amanda); 2 step sons, Sam Higgs (Beth) and Robert Higgs. 1 step daughter, Melanie Stott (Jeff); 2 sisters, Sandra Upthegrove (John) and Peggy Glisson; 2 brothers, Jerome Adams (Lynn) and Jerry Adams (Marilyn); 1 grandson, Jackson Thomas Higgs; 1 granddaughter, Rebecca Adams, and extended grandchildren..VisitationSunday, October 7, 20186:00 PM - 8:00 PM George H.
