Patricia Helene Shannon Hladik, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. She was a beloved wife and loving mother, who always put others before herself. Pat was a registered nurse who specialized in geriatric and Alzheimer care. She had published a handbook on taking care of the memory impaired. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bernard L. Hladik, three daughters; Karen Hladik of Jacksonville, FL, Susan McGrail of Johns Creek, GA, and Stephanie Greco of North Potomac, MD, sister Michaelyn Holmes of Hopkinton, MA, five grandchildren; Jessica, Alison, Griffin, Nicholas and Hannah and two great grandchildren; Isabelle and Wynn. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 2-4PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Monday June 8, 2015 at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Road Jacksonville, FL 32257 with Father Thomas Moore officiating.
