Mrs. Patricia "Pattie" Anne Leigh, age 50 of Hawthorne passed away in Waldo Friday, May 8, 2015. Pattie was born in Virginia on April 26, 1965 and was a retired hair stylist. She was of the Baptist faith and loved all animals especially birds; she also collected tea pots. Preceding her in death was her father, Joseph Pierce. Survivors are her husband, Stan Leigh of Hawthorne; three children, Alex Tison and Barbara Tison both of Middleburg and Shelby Rosenthal of Kentucky; her mother, Caroline Manning of Detroit, MI; four siblings, Richard Pierce of Starke, Lori Dwyer and Chris Hall both of Keystone Heights and Roger Pierce of Middleburg. Also left behind is her step mother, Barbara Pierce; a step son, Brett Leigh of Starke; three grandchildren and many cousins. A celebration of Patties life will be held at a later date.
