Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Ann Yon age 70 of Starke passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville following a long illness. She was born February 5, 1953, in Orange Park to Mosely "Mose" and Marie (Chitty) Green. Mrs. Yon was a homemaker and had attended Madison Street Baptist Church. She loved listening to Christian music, growing plants, had a big heart for animals and loved helping anyone in need. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death her daughter Angela M. Henley. Mrs. Yon leaves behind two daughters Kerri Leach (Charles) of Gainesville and Brittany Thornton (David) of Starke along with a sister Norma-Jean Porter of Jacksonville. She was also lovingly called "Grandma" by four beautiful grandchildren Ray, Daniel, Miranda, and Christopher. There are currently no services scheduled.
