It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Patsy Marshall Fogg, who peacefully passed away on November 10, 2024 in Gainesville, FL. She was surrounded by her family, whose lives she touched in many ways.Born on May 11, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, Patsy was the daughter of John Clark Marshall and Queen Ann Nelson. In her 20s she met and married Jim Parsons and moved to Gainesville, where she raised her family. Later, Patsy married Steve Fogg, a relationship that brought her much joy and companionship in her later years. Patsy was a mother to Dianne and Amy, and Gigi to Ryland, Hailey, Reese, Hannah and Ryan. In addition to being a mother and grandmother, Patsy had a deep love for horses. Her father and grandfather were both Ranchers and from an early age she found solace and strength in the presence of these magnificent animals. She spent countless hours riding, caring for and forging lifelong connections with them. As a lifelong animal lover, she studied to become a Veterinary Technician and worked at Colorado State University before moving to Florida.Patsy is survived by her children, Dianne (Vance) Elshire and Amy (Chris) Eaton, and her 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Clark Marshall and Queen Ann Nelson, her Uncle King Lee Nelson and beloved Toy Poodle, Marie. To Patsy, water was not just a natural element, but a lifelong passion, an essential part of her spirit. The family will have a private service at the Lake House where she spent many happy times. We find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to surround us, and that the lessons she taught us will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Mom. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
