Patsy N. Whaley died peacefully in her sleep on March 30, 2012 at the Haven Hospice Care Center.Born in Bluefield, WVA on January 4, 1935 to Ralph and Nell Marrs. She has called Florida home since 1956. In the past 25 years, she worked for Santa Fe College.Patsy is survived by her four children: Michael Price (Angela), Debbie McBay (Phillip), Jimmy Whaley (Angela) and Kim Crown (Scott). She was a beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Her extended family her included her companion and friend Clyde Whaley and his children: Kinsey Whaley (Debbie), Marty Whaley (Lori) and Julia Hannah (Tommy) and nine grandchildren.Services will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home located at 725 NW 23 Avenue, Gainesville, FL. 32609. Visitation is from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Monday, April 2, 2012 and the funeral service will be held at 11:00am on April 3, 2012.
