Paul C. Nugent

Mr. Paul C. Nugent, Jr. age 72, of Starke passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his daughters home surrounded by his family from cancer. He was born on April 9, 1945 in Starke to the late Paul C. and Vera Lee (Starling) Nugent. Paul had many job titles throughout his life, but he was a Master Electrician by trade. He has even traveled as far away as Saudi Arabia for work. He enjoyed shopping for bargains and visiting with people at the grocery store; but he loved spending time with his family.Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Ann Burns Nugent in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Trogdon-Nugent of Starke; children, Lucinda Joy Nugent Caldwell (Jeff) of Starke, Timothy David Nugent (Lisa) of Starke, Eric Clayton Nugent (Rita) of Lake Butler, and Rebecca Lee Taylor (John) of Starke; stepsons, Jacob Butts (Virginia) of Austin, Texas, and Clint Butts (Amy) of Starke; siblings, Donna Martini (Ralph), Diane Tierney (Mike), Linda Roberts (Larry), Glenda Padgett (Marty), Jimmy Nugent, Sr., Ronnie Nugent, Elaine Collins (Buddy), Danny Nugent (Missy), and Ricky Nugent; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family members, and friends.A Celebration of Pauls Life will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the DeWitt C.
