Pauline Cox

Mrs. Pauline Cox, 86 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. Mrs. Cox was born July 29, 1934 in Baldwin to parents Theodore and Venie (Thomas) Jones. In her free time, Pauline enjoyed crossword puzzles, working in the yard, feeding animals and talking to them, and loved drinking her coffee. She also enjoyed going on mission trips and attending big family events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Dean Cox, son, Larry Cox, brothers, Frederick McPherson, C.B. McPherson, and J.W. McPherson, sister, Lorena Snipes, and great grandson Levi Grant. Survivors are her daughters, Brenda Surrency (Rev. Ronnie), Delorese Foster (Rev. Joe), Paula Francis (David), brother, Theodore Jones, Jr., daughter-in-law, Peggy Cox, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR 16W, Green Cove Springs with Reverend Joe Foster and Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating. Burial will follow in Penney Farms Cemetery.
