Mrs. Pearline Swilley Sutton age 93 of Starke passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Shands at Starke following a brief illness. Mrs. Sutton was born on October 2, 1915 in Lowndes County, Georgia to Dalton and Etta Swilley, and moved to Starke 7 years ago from Auburndale. She retired from Kraft Foods working for over 30 years, and was a member of the Church of God faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Sutton and children Lester Sutton; Leller Shirey; Hazel Kennedy; and Johnny Sutton. Survivors are daughters: Rosey Stephens of Lake Wales; Sybil Dempsey and Alice Sorrell both of Starke; son: James M. Sutton of Lake Butler; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Graveside 1/2 hour prior to services. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Sutton will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11:30 AM in Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale, FL with Reverend Marty McCoy officiating.
