Mrs. Peggy Montez GaskinsMrs. Peggy Montez Gaskins age 75, of Lawtey passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gaskins was born on June 18, 1934 in Hampton to the late Bert and Margaret Turner Hinson and was a lifelong area resident. She was a Methodist and a retired Teacher Aide for the Bradford County School Board. Peggy was an avid shopper, and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her brother Bert Hinson. Survivors are: her husband Arthur Gaskins of Lawtey; daughter: Teresa Phillips of Starke; sons: Randy Gaskins of Starke; Mike Gaskins of Lawtey; sister: Brenda Gardner of Keystone Heights; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Northside Baptist Church with Reverend James Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery.
