Mr. Peter Raymond Hooper, Sr. 88 of Jacksonville passed away suddenly Sun. March 28, 2010 at the St. Vincents Medical Center. Mr. Hooper was born in Lexington, KY on June 15, 1921. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Lee County School Board as a Professional Painter. He had also served in the United States Army during WWII and attended the Holy Redeemer Church on Normandy Blvd. Survivors include his children: Joseph Hooper, Emma J. Allen, Peter Hooper, Jr. and William Scott Hooper, 9 grandchildren, & 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Lake Shore Presbyterian Church with Pastor Kathy McLean officiating.
