Phillip Lloyd Miller

Phillip Lloyd Miller age 76 of Hampton, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at UF Health Shands in Gainesville. Phil was born in Norfolk, VA on January 21, 1943 to the late Robert Lowell and Mary "Spalding" Miller. He worked as a computer draftsman, designing building plans for residential and commercial properties for various construction companies. Phil was an avid hunter, fisherman, antique collector, and loved going to the flea market every Saturday. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lowell Miller of Hampton. Survivors include his wife of 19 years Marcia "Goodge" Miller of Hampton; son, Brandon (Abby Dabbelt) Miller of Middleburg; daughter, Starr (Randy) Lewis of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Allison Lewis, and Jordan Lewis all of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Jake Miller and Carson James Miller of Middleburg; and his uncle, Bernard (Jessie) Spalding of Norfolk, VA. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Rev. Roman Alvarez officiating. Visitation hours will be held the evening prior from 5-7:00 p.m. Interment will follow at New River Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME OF STARKE 904-964-6200.
