Priscilla Ann Mccall
Ricks Age 95
Sep 25, 1930 — Apr 24, 2026
Priscilla Ann McCAll Ricks, age 95, was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 24, 2026. Ann was born September 25, 1930, in Ocala to Wiley Eli and Maude (Ratliff) McCall and grew up in Oneco, the youngest of the McCall clan. She enjoyed roller skating every night (except Sunday) and playing basketball, making the All-Star Conference two years in a row. Ann played guard for Jack's Cookies after high school.
After her marriage to Jimmy Ricks II, she moved to Starke where they raised their four children and she worked tirelessly to get the three youngest boys through high school after her husband passed away suddenly. Ann was a lifelong member of Laura Baptist Church (Christ Church of Starke) and an avid Florida Gator fan. Later in her life she moved to Jacksonville and was known as "Granny". She was a selfless, giving soul who loved being at catering events helping her son Jimmy in any way she could.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband James D. Ricks II, along with siblings Faye Graves, Frances Overstreet, Ruth LaGrange, Wiley Eli McCall, Jr., and Jean Alday.
Survivors are her children Pamela Ann Venezia (Tony), James D. Ricks III (Debbie), Stephen Ricks, Sr. (Kathy, deceased), and William Anthony Ricks (Annette). She was lovingly called "Granny" by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ricks will be held on Friday May 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Mr. Jason Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingsley Lake Cemetery.
The family is requesting that you wear orange and blue attire to honor Mrs. Ricks.
