Rachael Lefkovitz Weinstein Rachael Lefkovitz Weinstein, Hebrew name, Raela, passed away on July 29, 2013, at the McGraw Center Hospice in Jacksonville. She was born on November 7, 1913 in Nashville, Tennessee to Abraham and Devorah (Feigenbaum) Lefkovitz. She attended Peabody College. Rachael married Norman A. Weinstein on April 28, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama. They moved to Jacksonville in 1938 and opened Standard Sales Company. She has been a member of The Temple since 1945. Mrs. Weinstein was a Lifetime Member of Hadassah and a member of River Garden Auxiliary.Mrs. Weinstein was preceded in death by her husband, Norman A. Weinstein and her daughter, Sheila P. Weinstein. She is survived by her sons, Ken (Yvonne) Weinstein and Howard (Cynthia) Weinstein; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren;4 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren.A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2013 in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Community Hospice of N.E.
