Ralph Jackson "Buddy" Rayburn

Mr. Ralph J. "Buddy" Rayburn, Jr. 71, of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park. He was born December 23, 1946, in Orlando and had been a longtime resident of the Keystone Heights area. Mr. Rayburn was a retired Bookkeeper, a Christian and he enjoyed plants, shooting guns, and was an avid reader, but most of all Buddy loved his mother very much. His father Ralph Jackson Rayburn, Sr. had preceded him in death. Survivors are his 91 year old mother Hazel (Budford) Rayburn and his sister Geneva Mittie Day both of Keystone Heights along with two nieces Kelly Day of Keystone Heights and Lorena Day of Green Cove Springs. Also left behind are several great nieces and nephews in addition to many extended family members and friends. A graveside service for Mr. Rayburn will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, with Pastor Shawn House officiating. Interment will be at Gadara Cemetery.
