Ramona I. Stazen age 86, of Melrose passed away March 8, 2015 in Starke. She was born in Largo on February 4, 1929 to the late Rufus and Bessie (Purcell) Brannen. Mrs. Stazen was a member of the Keystone United Methodist Church and the Keystone Womans Club. She was a talented oil painting artist and landscaping artist; Mrs. Stazen had also won a state championship for her art work. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Peter Stazen in 2005. Her survivors are her children, Jenean Platt of Melrose, Lydia Gottardi of Tampa and Michael Sessions of Jacksonville. Also left behind are her stepchildren, Shelly Stazen of Wisconsin and Rev. Peter Stazen of Kentucky and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
