Randolph "Randy" Lee Jones

Randolph "Randy" Lee Jones age 70 of Starke passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. Mr. Randy was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 10, 1950 to the late James Ermie and Jacqueline Rose (Mathis) Jones. Mr. Jones worked for Jimmy Alvarez Property Appraisers Office for 8 years, Pat Welch Land Surveyor for 18 years, Bruce Dukes Property Appraiser for 18 years, and the Bradford County School Board for 20 years. Randy was a very personable man that never met a stranger. He was also a faithful member of Madison Street Baptist Church, loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was an avid bass fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Vorease (Patrick) Jones of Starke; daughters, Brandi (Bryan) Kirkland of Keystone Heights and Courtney Jones of Starke; brother, Jimmy Jones of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, D.J. Kirkland of Keystone Heights, McKinlee Kirkland of Keystone Heights; and Cory Cray, Jr. of Starke.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Madison Street Baptist Church. A visitation will precede the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Santa Fe Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastor Richard Cason and Pastor Charles Warren.
