Raymond J. AllenRay Allen ,75, of Starke, Florida , passed away on May 21, 2024.He was born in Nashville , Tennessee to Jesse and Sara Allen , they moved to Jacksonville ,Florida in late 1950s . Attended Ribault high school. He volunteered for the Army in 1967 ,volunteered for Vietnam ,was in the 11th Armored Cavalry , 1969-1970 , 1/11 C Troop. Aftercoming home worked as electronics mechanic at NARF/NADEP for 25 years . Retired in 1996,at age 48 . He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing .Is survived by his spouse , Laurie Williams AllenFuneral service to be held at Crosby Lake Cemetery, 10:00 a.m. , Saturday , May 25 , 2024Celebration of his life will be planned later this year .
