Mr. Ertle was born on July 28, 1934 in Teaneck, NJ to the late Alfred and Evelyn Ertle. Prior to moving to Keystone Heights where Mr. Ertle owned and operated the Health Living 4 U store, he had lived in West Palm Beach where he retired from the Police Department as Detective Sergeant. Mr. Ertle had served in the United States Army and he also enjoyed racing stock cars, refinishing furniture and being a handy man. Mr. Ertle is survived by his wife: Margaret (Peek) of Keystone Heights. His children: Beth Colavecchio, Larry Ertle, and Kenny Ertle all of Lake Worth, FL and Jimmy Ertle and Pamela Ertle both of West Palm Beach, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:30 a.m in the Freshstart Fellowship Church with Rev. Brian York officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
