Raymond "Ray" William John Reno of Gainesville, Florida passed away on May 3, 2023. He is predeceased by both parents, a brother and a sister. He left behind his stepmother, Joyce Reno; two sisters, Ellen (Mike) Everette & Roberta (Carl) Hill; stepsister, Julie Morris; stepbrother, Jimmy (Robin) Grimm; and several nieces & nephews. Ray was born on May 25, 1967 in Hollywood, Florida to the late Ellen Jane & Robert "Bob" Reno, being their fourth out of five children. Ray was a go getter, never slowing down as his hobbies consisted of bowling, R/C car and Go Cart racing, along with golfing. Ray was an avid animal lover, never leaving any strays left hungry. Ray was a plumber by trade, working in the family business Reno Plumbing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Evans Carter Funeral Home, 18724 High Springs Main Street, High Springs, Florida.
