Private services were held for Rebecca Tumblin Parker who died on December 9, 2014. Born in Lokasee, Florida on May 8, 1917 to Frank and Ruth Harris Tumblin, she moved shortly thereafter to New Smyrna Beach. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1945. Rebecca had a great love of nature, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed her travels to many countries. Survivors include her beloved husband, Grady C. Parker, sisters, Velna Fletcher of Walnut Creek, California and Dolores Ricard of Mims, Florida and two special nieces, Lenore Stormes of Castro Valley, California and Nancy Parker Corwin of Jacksonville.
