Rene Cruz Jimenez, 72, of High Springs, Florida, passed away on September 2, 2020, in Lake City, Florida. He was born in New York, New York on April 7, 1948 to Gilbert and Marina (Serrano) Jimenez.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jimenez; son, Pierre Jimenez; daughters, Nikki Jimenez and Jaime Jimenez; brothers, James Serrano and Edward Serrano; sisters, Esmerelda Lopez, Alicia Serrano, and Delilah Heath; and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Evans Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, Florida. Burial will follow the service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
