Renee Lynn Wheeler

Mrs. Renee Lynn Wheeler age 56 of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center following a short illness. She was born June 3, 1964, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the late William and Marcia Mathews. Renee was not only a homemaker she was a loving and devoted housewife and grandmother. She was a member of New Grace Baptist Church in Florahome where she taught Sunday school. Renee also enjoyed working with flowers and helping others plan special events and weddings. Her involvement with her sons school activities continued with her being very involved with her grandchildrens as well. Renee leaves behind her husband of 34 years Jeffrey Wheeler of Keystone Heights and their two sons Jamie Wheeler (Stacy) of Michigan and Ronnie Wheeler (Christina Christian) of Keystone Heights; three siblings and an aunt and uncle. She was lovingly called "Granna" or "Grandnea" by Skyler, Kara, Kaeleigh, Kimber and Westen. Also left are additional family members and a host of friends that will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends Friday, July 24, 2020, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services for Renee will be held Saturday, July25, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jay Baker officiating.
