Rhoda B. Reed, 88, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024.Rhoda was born in Wyoming, Pennsylvania on October 17, 1935 to Harry James and Sylvia Taylor Bartholomew. Rhoda worked as a Registered Nurse for Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. She enjoyed music, singing, and photography. She was also involved in annual trips to Zambia in support of Christian based medical missions. She also provided financial support to numerous wildlife charities.Rhoda is survived by son, Mark Reed and his wife Tracy; grandson, Steven Reed, his wife Valerie and their daughters Kylie and Harper; grandson, Jordan Reed; granddaughter, Hannah Robbins and her daughters Alayah and Mkaylah; niece Debbie Meripolski, her husband Mike and their daughter, Ann.Rhoda is preceded in death by sons, Craig James Reed and Warren Andrew Reed III.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Zambia Mission, online at https://zambiamission.org/donate-help/donate.html, by mail at Box 3393Abilene, Texas 79604-3393, or by phone at 800-993-3461.The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Forest Meadows Memorial Park-Central.
