Mr. Richard Dick Vanie Hamilton, 66 of Keystone Heights died suddenly at his residence on Sunday, September 26, 2010. Mr. Hamilton was born on April 1, 1944 in Meadville, PA to the late Vanie and Alice Hamilton. Prior to his retirement as a supervisor for Omega Metals and Jefferson Smurfit Corp., he had served in the United States Army, and had been a long time resident of the Keystone Heights area. He is preceded in death by one sister. Survivors are his children; Scott Hamilton of Keystone Heights, Stephanie Taylor of North Carolina, Summer Hamilton of Worthington Springs, & E.L Williams of Keystone Heights; Siblings, Raymond Hamilton of Corry, PA, Ronald Hamilton of Columbus, PA, Ruth Pence of Vancouver, WA, Rama Crowe and Rita Frey both of Starke. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and companion Martha Williams of Keystone Heights. A memorial service will be held in the Fresh Start Fellowship Church on Fri. Oct. 1, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Burial will be at Gadara Cemetery at a later date. hide
