Richard Edward Holland, 78, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Middleburg, Florida. He was born on October 25, 1947, in Smithfield, North Carolina, to the late Arthur Holland and Margaret (Morris) Holland.

Richard dedicated his professional life to nursing, serving others with steady compassion and care. His work in the medical field reflected his practical nature and commitment to helping those in need.

He made his home in Keystone Heights, Florida, with Betty Jo Rodgers and was an important part of the Rodgers family. Emma Rodgers regarded him as a grandfather. He often brought her small gifts and treats, simple gestures that made her smile and, return made him smile. It meant a great deal to them both.

Richard will be missed by those who knew him and will remain in their memories.
