Obituary

Rock 'n Roll lost one of its own on Monday January 19, 2015. Richard Panken, 66, a second generation Jacksonville Native and Jacksonville Beach resident, died from complications from a chronic illness. He was road manager for Lynyrd Skynyrd and an organizer of the epic Atlanta International Pop Festival of 1970. Richard was known as a man of generous heart and spirit and was a mighty fine chef.
