Reverend Dr. Richard Carson Pedigo, 92 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021. Mr. Pedigo was born July 3, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Leo Boyd and Sarah Margaret (Walden) Pedigo. Richard was a long time resident of Green Cove Springs for over 40 years. He served in the United States Navy as Chief Petty Officer and United Methodist Clergy as well as being the former Pastor of The United Methodist Church of Green Cove Springs. He also was a member of GCA Association and the Fleet Reserve Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Boyd Pedigo, Jeffrey L. Pedigo, and grandchildren, Matthew Pedigo and Bridgett Vega. Survivors are his wife, Reba (Dotson) Pedigo of Green Cove Springs, son, Richard A. Pedigo of Jacksonville, daughter, Deborah Tripp of Green Cove Springs, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held in the near future.
