Richard "Rick" H. Smith

Mr. Richard "Rick" H. Smith, age 59, of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 following a brief illness. He was born in Wildwood on February 25, 1956 to the late Melvin and Addie (Letham) Smith. Rick was a carpenter by trade but had a passion for fishing, grilling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed playing his drums, guitar and keyboard along with collecting and shooting guns. Rick is survived by his spouse of eleven years, Kris Patrick; one son, Ricky Smith of Jacksonville and two additional children, Michael Patrick (Breesa) of Fernandina and Brandy Robinson (Jason) of Charleston, South Carolina. Rick also leaves behind two sisters, Kathy Davis and Virginia Lane and two grandchildren. The family will be having a private memorial service.
