Richard Eugene Towery

Mr. Richard E. Towery age 73, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at his home. He was born September 5, 1946, in Jacksonville to Howard and Dorothy (Weatherford) Towery. Prior to retirement he was employed with Blue Cross as an Analyst and made Keystone Heights home in 1997. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Jacksonville and had attended the First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights. Mr. Towery enjoyed being outdoors golfing, playing softball and fishing. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother George Towery. Left behind are his loving and dedicated wife of 45 years Jonnye (Bradley) Towery of Keystone Heights and two children Darien Towery of Branford and Russell Towery (Amy) of Sarasota. Also behind are his brother Donald Towery (Ruth Ann) of Jacksonville; a sister in law Anne Towery of Crescent City along with two grandchildren. There are no scheduled services at this time.
