Mr. Richard Rick Lee Underwood 51 of Keystone Heights passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, January 30, 2012. Mr. Underwood was born in Ocala on May 4, 1960 and was of the Baptist Faith. Rick was a resident of Lake City prior to moving to Keystone Heights seven years ago. He was a retired Musician playing lead guitar and he also worked at the Keystone Heights Golf and Country Club as a golf course maintenance personnel. Rick enjoyed playing music, and collecting John Deer and car models. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Christina Chris Underwood of Keystone Heights, daughter; Malisa Grest of Live Oak, parents; Jimmie Underwood of Texas and Ann Deese Underwood of Branford, siblings; Dennis, Wayne, David, Annette, Mary, and Pamela. He also leaves behind his stepchildren; Matthew Ellington of Lake City, Adam Ellington of Tallahassee, Jason Ellington of Virginia, and Christina Ellington of Gainesville,3 grandchildren, and 13 step grandchildren. Funeral services for Rick will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dennis Deese (Ricks brother) officiating.
