Robert Wayne Allen

Mr. Robert Wayne Allen age 54, of Starke passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Allen was born on March 21, 1962 in Starke and was a lifelong resident. Prior to retirement he was the supervisor of personnel & logistics for Century Ambulance Service. He was a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Starke, attended the Community Mens Fellowship Group, and was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Starke. Robert was an avid hunter and a loving husband and father. Preceding him in death was his mother Norma Jean (Vaughn) Allen Tetstone and his father Gordon Williamson Allen. Survivors are: his wife of 28 years Christie (Faulkner) Allen of Starke, daughters: Marissa Leigh Allen and Megan Grace Allen both of Starke, Sisters: Lori Allen Thompson (Randy) of Starke, Amy ONeal of Gainesville, Julie Turgeon of Starke, Tammy Daily of Hawthorne, brothers: Scott Allen of Jacksonville, John Allen of Starke, nephews: Justin Thompson and Brent Thompson both of Starke. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on SUNDAY, November 27, 2016 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on MONDAY, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at MADISON STREET BAPTIST CHURCH with Pastor Jim Chandler officiating. Interment will follow in Crosby Lake Cemetery.
