Robert Nelson "Bob" Baker

Mr. Robert Nelson "Bob" Baker age 83, of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Wiley Manor in Keystone Heights. Mr. Baker was born December 23, 1935 in Worcester, MA to the late Raymond Lester and Fannie (Nelson) Baker. Prior to retirement he worked as an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines and proudly served in the United States Air Force as a B-47 Crew Chief. Bob was a member of Friendship Bible Church and was the first Elder Emeritus. He enjoyed spending time with family, camping, hiking, travel and a good tennis match. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond Baker, Jr., James Baker and Pearl Baker. Survivors are: his wife of 62 years, Joyce Baker of Keystone Heights, children, James (Elizabeth) Baker of Appomattox, VA, Catherine (Michael) Milligan of Keystone Heights and Andrew (Denise) Baker of Greenwood Lake, NY. Also left are eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Friendship Bible Church in Keystone Heights. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:30 A.M.
