Mr. Robert Dale Barbour, 84 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Orange Park. Mr. Barbour was born January 26, 1938 in Monticello, Illinois to parents Glenn and Katie (Kirkland) Barbour. Robert was a Union Leader in Monticello for many years and in his free time he enjoyed fishing, dancing, and watching the History channel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Barbour and Jerry Barbour, step-daughter, Linda Lucas, and grandson, Gage Orbe. Survivors are his wife, Lydia Marie (Curtis) Barbour, children, Robert Dale Barbour, Jr., Robert G. Barbour (Shannon), Lynda Crist (Eddie), Mike Barbour (Michelle), Michelle "Missy" Hecht and step-children Lisa Peacock, Mark Orbe, David Orbe (Luella), Nita Cook Patton, and John Orbe. Also surviving him are his sisters, Jeanne Kirwan and Glenda Zyskowski, grandchildren, Sarah Juanita Orbe, Jeremy Orbe, Marcus Orbe, Larry Joe Dillavou, Summer Barbour, Christopher Blackburn, Hali Barbour, Megan Dimech, and Bri Barbour, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There will be no services held at this time.
