Robert Enoch "Bobby" Biggs

Mr. Robert Enoch "Bobby" Biggs age 88, of Starke passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 suddenly. Bobby was born on March 1, 1927 in Starke to the late Dr. Erle Biggs and Ida (Roberts) Biggs and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Bradford High School, was the owner/operator of Biggs Body Shop for over 40 years and was serving in the United States Army when he met and married his wife. Mr. Biggs served the local community in many capacities including three terms as Mayor of Starke, two terms as Starke City Commissioner, and was a former Chief of Police for Starke. Bobby loved horses and raced thoroughbreds for many years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sueko Hanada Biggs in 2012, his brother Erle "Les" Biggs, Jr. and his sister, Dottie Sue Sandbach. Survivors are: his children: Sonja Biggs Gissy (Michael) of Ocoee, FL, Erle Robert Biggs (Gwen) of Keystone Heights, Sarah Biggs-Wudel (Jim) of Walton, NB, grandchildren: Ashley Biggs, Megan Biggs, Max Wudel, and Emma Wadel. Memorial services for Mr. Biggs will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home in Starke.
