Robert Clyde Hubbard Jr "Bob", "Bobby", 73, of Keystone Heights, Fl passed away on Sunday, November 10th, 2024.Bob was born in Annapolis, Maryland on May 9th, 1951, to Robert Hubbard Sr. and Betty Wright. Shortly after, he moved to Jacksonville, Fl where he grew up on the Westside and attended Forrest High School. He left there to join the United States Army where he served multiple tours in Vietnam. Bob was awarded the Bronze Medal with Valor, Purple Heart and the Air Medal. After the Army, Bob worked as a shoe salesman with Kenny Shoes than as a car salesman for many years with Toyota and Chevrolet. After retiring, Bob moved to Keystone Heights where he lived until his death.Bob loved cheering for the Florida Gators and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also was a Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed watching the Nascar Races. Bob was most proud of his three children and all of his grandchildren.Bob is survived by his sons, Jason (Sarah) and Jonathan, and his daughter Jennifer (Steven) and his grandchildren, Bryson Hubbard, Avabelle Hubbard, Baleigh Shields, Peyton Shields, Lilly Hubbard, Kenadee Hubbard, Brooks Hubbard, Tatum Shields, and Lincoln Hubbard. He also leaves behind his four sisters, Cynthia Tipton, Debra Brock, Michelle Boone, Connie Reiner, his two brothers William Wright and Eugene Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wright, his father, Robert Hubbard Sr. and his brother, Steve Hubbard.The Memorial Service will be Thursday, November 21st at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Service will begin promptly at 10:30 am.
