Robert D. White, Sr. "Uncle Bob Don", 79 yrs old went to be with his lord and savior on January 15, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1938 in Alamo, Georgia to Curtis N. White and Agnes Martha Gilder. He was the youngest of four boys. Mr. White leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty nine years; Sandra C. White. Three children; Julia Helton (Ron), Robert D. White, Jr. (Janie) and Timothy White along with his three grandchildren; Tyler, Courtney (Michael) and Allison whom were the light of his life. He also leaves behind numerous family members, many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 with Rev. Billy Jones officiating. The visitation will be from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
