Robert J. Dahlke Robert J. Dahlke beloved father, grandfather and friend went to be with his Lord, and wife of 55 years on January 11, 2012. Bob was born in Buffalo, NY to Franklin and Dorothy Dahlke. He proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Navy; he also served the city of Jacksonville and the people of Deermeadows Baptist Church. Cooking was Bobs passion, but his family was his heart. He attended Faith Family Fellowship where he was a greeter and enjoyed making lifelong friends. Bob is preceded in death by his soul mate Betty and is survived by two daughters, Laura (Elkins) Tucker and Kerry (Ron) Hall; a son, Franklin (Samantha) Dahlke; grandchildren Kris (Laura), Kerry Ann (Paul), James (Jennifer), Brandon (Mandy), Shannon, Ron Jr., Elisabeth and Elijah; great grandchildren Jordan, Brook Lynn, Autumn, Nathan and Garrett. We will receive friends from 6 until 8p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home; 4140 University Blvd., S. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens; 850 St. Johns Bluff Road, N.
