It is with sadness we announce the passing of Robert Carlton Elliott, who died on April 6, 2026, at the age of 65. Robert was born on February 16, 1961, in Atlanta Georgia, and throughout his life, he exemplified kindness, intelligence, and dedication in all he did.

Robert proudly served his country in the US Airforce from October 1979 through March 1984 reaching the rank of Sergeant (E5). His commitment to service reflected his strong character and sense of duty, qualities that he carried into his professional life as Director of Technology at Cox Communications.

A devoted family man, Robert leaves behind his beloved wife, Myriam R Elliott, with whom everlasting memories were made travelling throughout the country and to exotic locales around the world on wild and sometimes dangerous adventures, and his caring mother, Barbara Tracy. The love and support within their family were evident in every interaction, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him.

Robert Elliott will be remembered not just for his accomplishments, and his exceptional work ethic with attention to detail in every aspect but for the warmth he brought to those around him, the loving relationships he nurtured throughout his life.

Robert was preceded in death by his father James W Elliott.
