Robert A. Gallagher

Robert A. Gallagher, 90, passed away on December 17, 2015 in Jacksonville.He was born on September 18, 1925 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Dell and A. Irene Gallagher. A longtime Jacksonville resident, Mr. Gallagher was retired from the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad where he worked for many years as a painter. Mr. Gallagher was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and served his country proudly during World War II in the Pacific theatre.Mr. Gallagher was preceded in death by his loving wife, M. Irene Gallagher, and their only son, Robert Scott Gallagher.
