Robert Neal Gault, 82, of Gainesville FL was called to his eternal home on September 8, 2012. Bob was born in Raleigh, NC December 28, 1929. He retired from Eastern Airlines as Manager of Airline Performance after 33 years of service and moved to Gainesville 18 years ago where he worked as Station Manager for Gulfstream International Airlines for 5 years. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1947-1949 and the U.S. Army from 1950-1953 serving in Korea and Japan. He was an active member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved without condition and made this world a better place.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charlene Turner Gault, son Russell Gault of Gainesville, daughters Anita Smith (Jim ) of Gainesville and Pamela Murray (Ed ) of Orlando, grandchildren Andrea Townsley (Ken) of Thiensville, WI, Andy Smith of Rome, NY, Jennifer Petracca (Brian) of Lewiston, ID, great grandchildren Miranda Townsley and Savannah Petracca, nieces Valerie Williams (Steve) of Abbingdon, MD, Vicki Bradford (Charlie) of Silver Spring, MD and three nephews.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00pm at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 9700 W. Newberry Rd. Gainesville, FL 32606, with Pastor Alan Struckmeyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
