A funeral service will be held on Monday , April 4, 2016 at 10AM at the Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Road Jax, FL 32219 with Dr. Winson Butler officiating, burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery. Robert is preceded in death by his first wife; Thelma Bessent Higginbotham. Robert is survived by his present wife Mrs. Alice Higginbotham of Stark, FL; a daughter Tammy Jenkins of Jax, FL, a son Keith Higginbotham, Sr. of Jax, FL, a sister Betty Fay Rodgers of Jax, FL. Four grandchildren; Keith Higginbotham Jr. of Jax ,FL, Shanna Deal of Bluntstown, FL, Vanessa Jenkins of Jax, FL, Savannah Jenkins of Jax, FL and five great grandchildren.
