Mr. Robert Cranton Kemper, 89 of St. Augustine, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022. Mr. Kemper was born April 6, 1933 in Evermans Creek, Kentucky to parents Clarence and Ollie Marie (Horne) Kemper. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 4 years. He held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Massey Technical Institute and was also Circulation Manager for The Patriot Ledger and Daytona News Journal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Patrick Shane Kemper and Tammy Mary Kemper, sister, Minnie Ercelle Kemper, his former wife, Patricia (Monk) Kemper and William Cameron Bissett. Survivors include his life partner, Ellen Bissett-Kemper, children, Roberta Lee Kemper, Richard Daniel Kemper, and Jody Cranton Kemper, step-daughter, Heather Anne Bissett, nephew Joe Collier and wife Carol. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Alycia Jurgela, Jason Kemper, Nicole Gregory, Amy Dinger, Matthew Gregory, Jonathon Kemper, Elizabeth Ulevicius, Jessica Ulevicius, Shane Kemper, Danielle Purcell, Christopher Kemper, Marissa Dinger and Zachary Purcell and great-grandchildren, Dyllon, Hannah, Bradley, Ace, Harper, Everett, Rowan, Adalyn, Mason, Jose, Jalyssa, Jayden, James and William. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 pm at the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Beecher officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery with military honors. "Thank you to my family for all your love and care."
