Mr. Robert Bruce McCallum, age 41 of Middleburg, died July 27, 2012 at his home. Mr. McCallum was born in Jacksonville on December 21, 1970 and was of was of the Catholic Faith. He was a graduate of Nease High in Jacksonville then later he received his A.A. degree from F.C.C.J. His enjoyment was camping, biking, spending time with his best friends and he was also an Eagle Scout. Survivors are his parents; Robert J. and Brenda McCallum, one brother: Mason B. McCallum, one sister, two nieces; Madison Brooks and Kaeley Kellar, uncles; Martin Poag, Ira Poag, Benjamin Poag, Aunts; Barbara Lorberg and Paula Curran, and his cousins; Brian, Carrie, and Lisa. Mr. McCallum also leaves behind his best friends; Bill Edelen, Dennis Sanderson, Daniel Bjork/Lynn Daniell, Robert Entwistle, Chuch Rivenback, Bruce Abbey, Chris Johnson, Jay Wike, Sarah Farrokh, Michael Scarborough, Rod Friedline, and Matt Calkins. A memorial service will be held on Sat. Aug. 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tony Ike presiding.
