Mr. Robert Lawrence Melanson age 70 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home April 16, 2013. Mr. Melanson was born on September 27, 1942 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and was of the Catholic faith. Prior to retirement he was a construction worker and he had also retired from Motorola following 25 years of service. Mr. Melanson enjoyed being with his family and having cookouts. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 Patricia Melanson in 2010. Survivors are; his son, Jay Melanson and his wife Abby of Keystone Heights; siblings, Richard Melanson and Beverly LaMarco, two step grandchildren, Thomas and Stephanie, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
