Robert Thomas Phillips, 65, of Starke, Florida, passed away on April 21, 2026. He was born on May 27, 1960, in Miami, Florida, to Samuel and Minnie Bell Phillips. He built a life centered around hard work, family, and the outdoors.

In 1978, he married his beloved wife, Linda. Together they raised three sons: Robert S. Phillips, Dwayne Phillips (Krystle), and Chad Phillips. He was a proud grandfather to Taylor Phillips, Kaily Phillips, Dylan Phillips, Kenslee Phillips, Collin Phillips, and Dane Phillips, and a great-grandfather to Lylah Little and Lennox Little. He is also survived by his brother, Danny Busby, along with many nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Minnie Bell Phillips, and his brother, Randy Busby.

Robert was known for his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and any time spent on the water. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the service at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home, 340 E Walker Dr, Keystone Heights, FL 32656. Burial will take place afterward at Keystone Heights Cemetery.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
