A funeral service for Robert Edward Smith, Jr. will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11AM with Rev. Tim Nelson officiating, burial will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Robert is survived by two daughters; Denise (Gary) Lawler and Lois Schreur (Michael) A son Robert E. Smith III and Thirteen Grandchildren and Twenty-Three Great Grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Mildred Smith, and two daughters; Patricia Smith and Anita Myers. Thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
