Funeral services for Robert Earl Spry, 51, who passed away on February 20, 2016, will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Dr. Dewey Painter officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Spry was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of Foster Drive Baptist Church and was a welder by trade. At one time he owned his own landscaping company. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Melvin W. Spry.
